Job Title: Senior Student Placements Officer

Location: Abuja

Your Position

  • You will be the principal point of contact with our recruiters for all students' offer letter holders.
  • You will service the recruiters with information on financial documents, interview preparations (like GTE, Pre-CAS, etc.), acceptance deadlines, enrollment requirements with our partner universities, etc.
  • You will also liaise with our partner universities to offer letter holders and help them in student conversions

Your Impact:

  • Support the recruiters by helping them to improve their conversions for each destination separately

Your Contribution

  • Follow up on Pending documents to convert conditional offers to full offers or payments.
  • Maintain data of all student information on conditional offers.
  • Maintain data of intake wise acceptance, payment and enrollment deadlines for UK, US, Canada and Australia specific partner institutions
  • Time to time convey the partner universities’ deadlines to the recruitment partners to offer acceptance and arrangement of payments on time according to the university intakes.
  • Regular review of data and flagging of concerns to the reporting manager and other senior staff as appropriate.
  • Maintain records of all follow-ups with recruitment partners and/or students.

Your Backstory

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent Degree.
  • More than 4 years of experience into international student recruitment and understanding of the challenges within this industry.
  • Prior experience of minimum of 2 years in end-to-end admissions process for UK, US, Canada and Australia destination universities in international student recruitment/higher education.
  • In-depth knowledge & understanding of UKVI, US, Canadian and Australian universities’ entry requirements, interview & financial documentation process.
  • Detailed oriented, highly organised, proactive and enjoy problem solving.Prior experience of working in a target driven environment with a proven record of successfully meeting/exceeding annual targets.
  • Ability to work productively within a team environment as well as independently
  • Conscientious with a strong desire to see things through to completion Strong desire for continuous personal development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills - written and verbal.
