Job Description

• Green Grass Investment Nigeria Limited, a company operating in the mining sector, is urgently seeking qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Welder.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out welding and metal fabrication activities.
• Repair and maintain metal structures and equipment.
• Perform cutting, joining and fitting of metal components.
• Inspect completed welding work to ensure quality and durability.
• Operate welding machines and related tools safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow company safety standards and operational procedures.

Educational Qualifications and Requirements

• Completion of a recognised welding apprenticeship training programme.
• Minimum educational qualification: Junior Secondary School Certificate Examination (JSSCE) or above.
• Practical welding and fabrication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings will be an added advantage.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in Kebbi State.

Minimum Experience Required:

• 1–4 years of progressive working experience in welding.
• Practical experience in welding, metal fabrication, cutting, joining and repair of metal components.
• Experience in an engineering, mining, manufacturing or industrial environment will be an added advantage.

Salary
N90,000 - N150,000 monthly.
