Job Title: Senior Quality Control / Quality Assurance Engineer

Summary

• The ideal candidate must have a strong background in quality assurance and quality control within civil construction, particularly warehouse, factory, and road construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) plans for construction activities.
• Inspect construction materials, workmanship, and completed works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
• Conduct quality inspections and tests at various stages of construction.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Review technical drawings, method statements, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Identify, document, and follow up on non-conformities, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, test records, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and project management to resolve quality-related issues.
• Monitor concrete works, structural works, road construction, and other civil engineering activities to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with approved procedures and project quality requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in QA/QC within civil construction.
• Proven experience in warehouse, factory, and road construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, inspection procedures, and testing methods.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent reporting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be available for immediate employment and ready to work at the project site in Shagamu, Ogun State.
