Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Account Officer to support the company’s financial operations, maintain accurate accounting records, and ensure timely processing of financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, vouchers, invoices, and payment documentation.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely reconciliation.
- Reconcile bank statements, cash transactions, and ledger accounts.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules.
- Monitor expenses and ensure compliance with company financial policies.
- Assist with budgeting, audits, and statutory documentation.
- Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of financial records.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience; experience in manufacturing or FMCG is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong numerical, analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
