Job Description
The ideal candidate must be able to carry out the following:
- Supervise Mechanics activities and ensure required performance is attained.
- Prepare daily report on maintenance activities.
- Assign jobs to mechanics and ensure jobs are completed within the required time
- Ensure pre-loading inspection is carried out regularly.
- Carry out regular preventive and corrective maintenance of all trucks.
- Supervise highway breakdown repairs.
- Must have a good knowledge of all the truck engine components.
- Must be able to assess the work done on each truck and give reports.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have the following requirements
- Technical School Certificates
- Trade Test 1 – 3,
- OND, HND and /or any other practical certificate will be added advantage.
- Such persons must have practical knowledge of the job for haulage.
