Job Title: Territory Development Officer

Job Summary

• We are seeking a results-driven Territory Development Officer to drive growth in leases/asset finance through market research, lead generation, pipeline development, and competitor monitoring within an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and identify potential clients and untapped business opportunities.
• Map 3-wheeler/tricycle parks, branch and park chairmen, operators, traders, and small businesses within the territory.
• Build and maintain a minimum pipeline of 100 leads, including at least 30 hot leads.
• Qualify, categorize, and follow up leads based on financing needs and credit readiness.
• Maintain accurate daily lead and guarantor records and support client onboarding.
• Achieve agreed monthly business development and client acquisition targets.
• Collaborate with Credit and Collections teams throughout the client onboarding process.
• Monitor competitor pricing, repayment terms, promotions, loan terms, and market activities.
• Provide regular competitor and territory intelligence reports to Management.

Requirements

• HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in business development, sales, asset finance, lending, or related financial services is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of the assigned territory and excellent lead-generation skills.
• Strong communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
• Target-driven with strong commercial awareness and planning abilities.
