Calibration and Non Destructive Services Limited was Incorporated as a servicing company in the area of “Calibration Services, Instrumentation and Non-Destructive Testing”. Our services cover both the upstream and downstream Oil and Gas sector.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Procurement Specialist (Oil and Gas)

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Estimate and establish cost parameters and budget for purchase orders
  • Respond to all sorts of RFQs, RFI's, RFX, etc., and any form of tenders into the company
  • Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
  • Follow up with the orders placed until the delivery point to the client's locations
  • Source for prospective suppliers and develop bid cost proposals for contracts
  • Maintain and update the list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
  • Work with team members and procurement manager to complete duties as needed.
  • Sourcing for technical partners in the EPC, oil, and gas industry.
  • Maintain records of purchasing, pricing, and other important data.
  • Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply and price options
  • Ensures orders delivered are the same as what was ordered originally

Qualifications

  • BSc in a relevant discipline.
  • MBA is an additional benefit.
  • Two to three years of experience in the EPC, oil, and gas industry.
  • Proficient in resolving all technical queries before order placement.
  • Demonstrate dedication to current trends with procurement costs across many business sectors, especially the EPC, oil, and gas sector.
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of business activities and operations.
  • Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness and ability to continually enhance the company's performance.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform in a competitive, quick-paced sales environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) as well as outstanding presenting abilities.
