Specification
  • Assist in the development of timelines for implementing marketing campaigns and events. Monitor to ensure adherence to timelines
  • Coordinate the ordering and deployment of marketing materials (e.g leaflets, posters, banners, promotional materials)
  • Plan, organize and executive marketing and sales programs
  • Develop yearly promotional plan in line with brand guidelines, sales feedback and shoppers' insights
  • Track market and company sales performance, generate leads and drives sales
  • Gather and report customer intelligence to the marketing and retail operations teams
  • Monitor and document marketing activities of competition with regards to special offers, new product, revamps, CSR initiatives and advertising campaigns
  • Create programs that drive brand loyalty across trade and customers touch points
  • Liaise with retail expansion department and branch managers to identify marketing opportunities for promoting company’s products and services
  • Work closely with marketing teams to create marketing programs to leverage opportunities
  • Supervise marketing assistants and field promoters to ensure thorough coverage of targets areas
  • Support all company initiatives, give actionable feedback, share best practices and serve as advocate and information source for company
  • Compile daily reports of unit’s targets and achievements
  • Conduct periodically trade visit to assess new branches implantation in key markets
  • Assess branch activation success and prepare closing report for major launches
  • Act as the point persons for outside, inside and partner sales teams
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions and events to market company products and services
  • Keep abreast of industry treads and new market opportunities
  • Identify different events for customer engagement, trade promotion and market activation
  • Generate and maintain quality customer database from all experiential marketing and events
  • Ensure all signage deployed at branches are in line with the brand standard and must be visible, impactful, stable and appealing
  • Follow up to ensure all brand assets produced and deployed are aimed at achieving the marketing objectives
  • Ensure a 360-degree branding of all company’s events and all events supported by the company
  • Ensure brand visibility across all customers touch points
  • Pre and post trade promotions evaluation through: estimated ROI, store foot fall figures, incremental sales and market feedback as well as market data interpretations
  • Work closely with Finance to validate all promotions for future planning and efficient achievements
  • Conduct quarterly market visits in coordination with Marketing Manager
  • Timely submission of periodic reports and competition activities
  • Faithfully discharging all duties according to laid down standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure smooth running of the business.
Requirements
  • First degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Statistics, Creative Art or English Language
  • Membership of Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) or National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in an entertainment, fashion, beauty, pharmaceutical, FMCG, retails or telecommunications
  • Experience in fast-paced sales or FMCG environment driving performance to reach targets with a focus on driving brand visibility, products availability and sales/revenue generation
  • Experience in customer relationship management
  • Hands on experience in market activation, customers engagement, field marketing, guerrilla marketing and brand experience
  • Proven experience in trade marketing and consumer marketing role with exposure to marketing communications mix elements
  • Experience in integrated marketing mix, market segmentation, targeting and positioning
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences, market opportunities, BTL vehicles and devising marketing programs that engage, inform, educate and motivate customers
  • Ability to take initiatives
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to details
  • Ability to build external and internal relationships and partnerships
  • Exhibit professionalism and strong knowledge of beauty industry
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Experienced in analyzing large amounts of data and trends
  • Ability to generate new ideas, be accountable and responsible
  • Communicates effectively to all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing and marketing communications.
