Job Title: Lead Full-Stack / Solutions Engineer

Location: Lagos

Role Description

• This full-time, on-site Lead Full-Stack / Solutions Engineer role is based in Lagos.
• The individual in this position will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Laravel, React, Tailwind CSS, and MySQL, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include leading technical architecture decisions, writing clean and testable code, reviewing contributions from other engineers, and integrating third-party services and APIs.
• The role also involves collaborating with consulting and presales teams to understand client requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions, preparing technical proposals, and supporting solution demos.
• The Lead Full-Stack / Solutions Engineer will mentor team members, contribute to best practices, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver robust, user-centric applications aligned with client goals.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong full-stack Software Development skills, including Laravel (PHP), React, Tailwind CSS, and MySQL, with experience designing scalable architectures.
• Consulting skills to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and propose practical technology solutions for clients.
• Sales and Presales experience to support solution design, technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations in client engagements.
• Integration skills to connect applications with third-party APIs, internal systems, and cloud services securely and efficiently.
• Experience leading engineering teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring developers in modern development practices.
• Proficiency with version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment to cloud or container-based environments.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders on-site in Lagos.
• Experience with security best practices, performance optimization, and responsive UI design is highly beneficial.
