Job Title: Verification Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

• Leap MFI is seeking a diligent, detail oriented, and results driven Verification Officer to join out team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough verification of loan applicants and their guarantors.
• Carry out physical visit to applicants' residence and places of business.
• Validate submitted documents and information.
• Confirm KYC information, including BVN, NIN and ID cards.
• Prepare accurate verification reports and submit findings promptly.
• Identify discrepancies and potential risks during verification.
• Keep verification records secure and confidential.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degres or HND in relevant discipline
• Previous experience in verification, or field operation (Microfinance or Banking preferred)
• Good Knowledge of the local area and its markets
• Strong communication, analytical, and investigation skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and professionalism
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Excel.
