Job Title: Kitchen Assistant
Location : Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Job Brief
- The Kitchen Assistant will support the kitchen team with food preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen duties while maintaining proper hygiene and food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation as directed by the chef.
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
- Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces and work areas.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of kitchen items.
- Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain kitchen hygiene.
- Assist with receiving and arranging kitchen supplies.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the chef or supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent.
- Previous kitchen experience is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
- Must be hardworking, reliable, and attentive to detail.
